This year has brought its challenges already. Brian began the year without a job and Allison soon followed with her layoff in January. Thank the Lord, Brian now has a job bringing in a fair income. Still it is not enough for the family who was dependent on two incomes. The search for Allison's employment continues. So we continue to pray.
Now we are in round three as Justin is added to the list of the unemployed. After almost two decades with the same company he will now be searching for a new place to work. Both he and Gail are at peace and know God will provide.
We pray and anticipate what God is going to do with all these situations. It has certainly taught us not to take for granted one single day. The scripture is so right when it says, "thou knowest not what a day may bring forth." But that can be for the good as well as the bad. As I said before, God is still in control. Join with us as we pray.
